Digicast 14: The Pizza Chronicles (Tri Part 6)

Okay, okay, we know. This one’s late. Like, really, really late. A good three months late. But we all had a bunch of irons in the fire. Like, you wouldn’t believe just how many irons we had in all these fires. So many irons.

Anyway, here’s our recap on the finale (more like “finally,” amirite?) of Digimon Adventure Tri, along with an extended segment chronicling Maddy attempting to get some pizza.

Digicast 13: Bolgmon Spelled Backwards is Nomglob (Frontier Part 1)

The Frontier train has no brakes, and apparently neither does this podcast. Tom, Buggy, Chris, and Maddy have perhaps their least unified discussion yet as they discuss the codification of Digimon archetypes, Zoe’s hat, the sexual appeal of squidgirls, and whether or not Bokomon can be given the same Jar Jar status that Neemon can. Plus, of course, their usual digressions, such as Moon Moon Moon, unintentional Troll 2 references, and Crispin Freeman’s hentai career.

Digicast 12: Kari’s KFC Adventures (Tri Part 5)

Most Digimon podcasts get their Tri episodes out in a timely manner. We are not most Digimon podcasts. Tom, Buggy, Chris, and Maddy growing increasingly frustrated with this episode of Tri until it goes from 0 to 60. And even then they’re still pretty frustrated with it. Also, this is the first episode Chris became editor for!

Digicast 11: Minami and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (The Tamers Movies)

Tamers was good, right? So the movies based off of Tamers are going to be good too, right? Tom, Buggy, Chris, and Maddy quickly realize that no, that’s not quite true as they discuss the Okinawa Board of Tourism, Minami’s Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day, half-vanished dubs, and daddy issues.

Digicast 10: Just One George (Tamers Part 2)

Buggy, Tom, Chris, and Maddy finish up Tamers by asking the hard-hitting questions, like “how does one get drunk on milkshakes?” and “why does Ryo even exist?” Tom finally reveals the theory he’s been teasing since episode 1, and Chris reads a very NSFW creepypasta.

Digicast 9: Sora Gets Shafted (Tri Part 4)

Buggy passes the goggles. Maddy is hospitalized. Tom complains about animation. Chris does an old-timey radio voice. And everyone complains about how badly Sora seems to get shafted.

Digicast 8: There’s No Such Thing as 2 (Tri Part 3)

Buggy, Tom, Chris, and Maduin run the full gauntlet of emotions regarding the third part of Digimon Adventure Tri. Also, they manage to go an episode without any tangents, so long as you politely overlook the ones on Kingdom Hearts voice actors and how the rest of the world feels about America’s role in WWII.

Digicast Episode 7: The Horny Episode (Tamers Part 1)

Buggy, Tom, Chris, and Maduin return once again to cover the first part of one of their favorite seasons of Digimon. You probably shouldn’t listen to this episode, though. Like, seriously. It’s really horrible and depraved, even by our standards. Unless you want to hear us talk about pegging, fisting, and furry loli yuri as we discuss a show aimed at kids. But hey, momentai! Saying momentai means we’re off the hook, right?

Digicast Episode 6: Summer Wars 2: Revenge of AngelaAnacondamon (The Adventure Movies)

Buggy, Chris, Tom, and Maduin deal with Diaboromon attempting to sabotage their podcast as they finish off the Digimon Adventure continuity with Digimon: The Movie(s) and Revenge of Diaboromon. Tom has not seen the uncut Japanese versions. Maddy has not seen the dubbed movie. Buggy is angry about geography, and Chris just wants to have a Shocking Night, Fucking Night (Rock and Rool!).

Digicast 5: The Fanservice Episode (Tri Part 2)

Buggy, Tom, Chris, and Maduin are finally back, but is Myotismon secretly behind this episode’s delay? Is the Digimon Emperor really Ken Ichijooji? Did Davis turn evil because he realized running a noodle cart is a stupid dream? And what do Polish prostitution laws have to do with anything? We have a lot of questions, but no answers. But that’s all right, because at least we get plenty of character development and, more importantly, fanservice. With MetalGreymon’s hair.
